CBSE chapters in JEE Main, JEE Advanced and CUET maths
Every chapter of NCERT Class 11 and 12 Mathematics, and whether recent JEE Main, JEE Advanced and CUET (UG) syllabuses list it. "Background" means the exam does not list the chapter by name but its questions use it.
To confirm. This table is our reading of the exams' published syllabuses; the syllabuses change, and we have not yet re-checked it against the current editions. Check the official syllabus before you decide to skip anything: JEE Main, JEE Advanced, CUET (UG).
In recent JEE Main syllabuses, linear programming (Class 12) is not listed, and linear inequalities (Class 11) is not a unit of its own, though you use inequalities throughout. Every other Class 11 and 12 chapter is in. Check NTA's current syllabus.
Do I need Class 11 chapters for CUET maths?
CUET Mathematics lists Class 12 topics. Class 11 chapters such as trigonometric functions, limits and probability are the background for them, but complex numbers, permutations, sequences and conic sections are not listed.
CBSE Math Revision is independent and not affiliated with NTA, the IITs or CBSE. Exam details marked to confirm are from the exam bodies' published documents but have not yet been re-checked against the current edition: always follow the official information bulletin.
