CBSE Maths results: what next?
Whatever your grade, there is a next step. This page sets out the options in plain English and links the board’s own pages for anything official. We do not show results dates, fees or deadlines unless we have checked them on the board’s site.
First steps
If a mark looks wrong, act quickly: CBSE publishes the post-result process, with its fees and deadlines, in its circulars. Your school can help you apply.
When is results day?
The CBSE has not published the 2027 date sheet or results dates yet. Check the CBSE website for announcements. Source: CBSE website. See exam dates for every date we have checked.
A mark looks wrong: re-marks
If you were close to a grade boundary, or one paper looks far below your others, ask whether a re-mark is worth it. Marks can go down as well as up. Fees and deadlines are set by the board and change, so read them on the board’s own pages:
Resits
In 2026, Class 10 had a second board examination instead of a supplementary exam, and Class 12 had a supplementary exam. Read the Class 12 supplementary exam guide, and check CBSE’s circulars for this year’s arrangements.
Plan a resit like a fresh start: go through your mistakes, then follow a pre-board plan from the exam season page.
